Breathing air induced with particle matter can cause a person has breathing difficulties, irritation in the eyes, nose, throat or skin even. Since <a href=\"https:\/\/www.aqi.in\/blog\/300-aqi-in-current-pollution-level-in-delhi\/\"><span style=\"color: #0000ff;\"><strong>transport pollution<\/strong><\/span><\/a> is the contributing factor to the pollution level, a series of questions have been prepared to chart a proper transport planning.<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"font-family: 'book antiqua', palatino, serif; color: #000000;\">Here are some potential questions:<\/span><\/p>\n<ol>\n<li style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"font-family: 'book antiqua', palatino, serif; color: #000000;\">What is the turning point in cost to <a href=\"https:\/\/www.aqi.in\/blog\/air-pollution-is-affecting-the-bees\/\"><span style=\"color: #0000ff;\"><strong>encourage drivers to replace their pollution vehicles<\/strong><\/span><\/a> with the greener one?<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"font-family: 'book antiqua', palatino, serif; color: #000000;\">How many people (businesses and the general public) will suffer if greener vehicles are introduced?<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"font-family: 'book antiqua', palatino, serif; color: #000000;\">How many journeys might instead be made by public transport? Can the public transport network handle them?<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<blockquote><p><span style=\"font-family: 'book antiqua', palatino, serif; color: #000000;\">\u2018Environmental managers only identify and monitor problems. Insufficient relevant priority has been given within the sector responsible for most relevant emissions \u2013 transport policy and planning \u2013 which has instead prioritized safety and economic growth.\u2019 &#8211; University Professor commenting on poor air pollution management.<\/span><\/p><\/blockquote>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"font-family: 'book antiqua', palatino, serif; color: #000000;\">As per the WHO study, at least 40,000 and more <strong><a href=\"https:\/\/www.aqi.in\/blog\/air-pollution-level-in-delhi-causes-deaths-of-80-lives\/\"><span style=\"color: #0000ff;\">premature deaths a year<\/span><\/a><\/strong> in India are attributed to air pollution, mainly due to road transport. Air pollution-related morbidity and mortality are at epidemic levels and, although less obvious, are more significant than road transport collisions as a cause of death and injury. Politicians at local and national levels must treat poor air quality as a <a href=\"https:\/\/www.aqi.in\/blog\/is-summer-air-pollution-making-you-sick\/\"><span style=\"color: #0000ff;\"><strong>public health priority<\/strong><\/span><\/a>, placing a clear emphasis on the severity of the problem and the limitations of technological fixes.
