Environmental Problems in Bihar Are Putting Lives at Stake

Environmental problems in Bihar are putting residents of the state in danger. Studies have found that about 33.23% of deaths are accountable to breathing polluted air. As per The Lancet Commission on Pollution and Health, around 21.81% of health cases include disabilities due to ill effects of pollution of different kinds.

The report also suggests that breathing PM 2.5 which is ultra-fine air particles found in the air can cause a number of health issues. However, the state is not struggling every day to breathe clean air but also fights against rising environmental issues.
