Hyderabad Cops Removed Bike’s Modified Silencers To Reduce Noise Pollution

Telangana traffic police started a drive to control the noise pollution level in Hyderabad. Noise pollution is very disturbing pollution which makes huge disturbances to the public. The sources of noise pollution may be from different ways like music, vehicles, traffic, public occasions, etc. Sound pollution is a big menace.

A Special Drive By Traffic Police To Remove Bike’s Modified Silencers To Control Noise Pollution Level in Hyderabad

Recently, Hyderabad cops have initiated a very good way to reduce noise pollution level by removing modified silencers from bikes. They usually take fine from the bikers using modified silencers. The police took a special drive and got the modified silencers removed from the two-wheelers with the help of mechanics.

A traffic inspector from Ramagundam said that the drive was focused on Royal Enfield and Yamaha vehicles with the modified silencers. He also mentioned they conducted the drive in view of the disturbance of the noise pollution caused to other motorists and the public. The police have also conducted counseling for motorists to reduce noise pollution.

Hyderabad traffic police were also planning to hold a meeting with the manufacturers and dealers to tell them not to modify the silencers. The police warned youngsters against modifying the silencers of Bullet motorcycles to produce annoying cracker sounds.

This initiative of traffic police to control the noise in the city is a very good drive. This will at least help reduce the noise pollution level in Hyderabad.

According to the report, the air pollution level in Hyderabad is at poor, but not very bad as compared to the other cities in India.

As per the above data shown in the dashboard of AQI India, the average noise level in Hyderabad is 55 dB during the last 30 days between April to May 2019. This means the noise level in Hyderabad is in normal which is not so bad.

According to the above Hyderabad AQI dashboard, the air quality index in the city is Avg. 66 ug/m3 for last 30 days between April to May 2019. This value indicates the air quality in the city is at a moderate level.

Telangana Government is working towards reducing pollution free environment for the people. They launched the Haritha Haram program soon after the formation of the State and also recognized the importance of greenery and cleanliness.
